Main roles - cast:

I had 2 simple reasons to watch this k-drama. One was the fact that I wanted to know more about suzy. I had just watched her in "Dream High" drama and I noticed that many people think that she's a bad actress and she only had recognition because of being an idol. So, I wanted to evaluate her by myself.
The other reason was because the genre was similar to "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Hearts Ryeo" so I had to watch it.

About Suzy I must say that she impressed me in this drama. I thought she wouldn't be able to do a role that requires her to be less feminine so I was surprised about how good she acted. Actually, I don't think it was an easy role and you can see how she improved since "Dream High".

The actor Lee Seung Gi was really good as well although it was the first time I saw him acting. I heard about him before because I have "My girlfriend is a Gumiho" in my drama list so now I definitely have to watch it.

-Synopsis-

Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi), born as a half-human-half-mythical-creature, goes through struggles in order to live more like a human than anyone else despite not being able to become human. He is the son of a guardian spirit of Jiri Mountain and an ordinary human. Choi Kang Chi later was raised by adopted family. He grows up as an outspoken character who's full of curiosity and one day, he realizes that he's a half-human-half-beast through a certain incident and starts living his second life. While going through the struggles, he met Dam Yeo Wool (Suzy) who is a master of martial arts and archery at a young age.

The whole story started with other characters than the main ones in order to explain the beginning of the story and make you curious at the same time. It will explain the supernatural part and why those creatures existed and blah blah blah but trust me it's a good start.

Throughout the story you'll have more than just one plot (main ones and his parents) and that makes it much more interesting and various plot twists that will make the story unpredictable. Along the way you'll suffer and cry, you'll laugh and smile and you'll be impatient to watch the next episode since you can't predict anything. That was what made me a little obsessed.

The action is a characteristic of this drama too and it's very well done; the ending was awesome although many people didn't like it and I needed a while to recover from it. (I'm still crying because I wanted a second season) But I think it's worth it.

I passed like 3 days watching fan made videos and listening the OSTs while trying not to cry. I'm not the type of person to watch the same drama twice but this one made me want to watch it again but i have a long list so I didn't xD.

The characters, especially Choi Kang Chi, will make you have a lot of mixed feelings and it will bright the story with humor. Honestly his character was the best for me, because you can see different parts of him and watch how he grow and how he faces the difficulties.
Dam Yeo Wool is a very lovely character too, she's strong and determined and you'll be able to see how she faces reality. She had a very powerful personality too.

To sum up you have to be prepared for a bunch of emotions. Grab some tissues, some chocolates or something that makes you happy and watch it. It's a very beautiful story with amazing OST and awesome actors.
